I fell in love with these ladies. I laughed, I understood them, I felt I could easily join this club and find my best friends there. I will even admit I burst into tears. So relatable A true woman's book Multi generational friendships are…

A sweet story about an unlikely group of friends. The narrator viewpoint shifts mid scene sometimes which is a bit jarring. A sadder ending than I expected. All in all, a very fun read. There are a lot of fat jokes and some unfortunate…

I could not read past the first 3 chapters of this book. The plot line is trite and the writing style is partonizing. I don't know what market she was aiming for? I do love women's groups and I love to knit but this book did not sustain my…

This book grabbed my attention right away and I had to pace myself so I wouldn't rush through it start to finish. I always appreciate a character driven novel full of strong women. I very much enjoyed the book and am looking forward to the…

The Friday Night Knitting Club is a fun slice-of-life story about a handful of New York women (and a few men on the peripheral) whose paths intersect around a knitting shop and the club the regulars keep on Friday nights. The camaraderie…

Good story. A little sad, but mostly a heartwarming tale of women and their lives intertwined.

Not often a book will make me outright, but this one did, and in the best way possible! Awesome read. Strong women, making it on their own. It hits all ages and is inclusive and warm. One of my faves!

The word "knitting" was used in the title to sell an otherwise poorly writen and boring book.

A lovely book about women from different walks of life- each with their own struggles, obstacles and strengths. What I expected to be fluffy, chick-lit turned into a heartwarming and tear provoking tale. A perfect read for a rainy day,…

Was not expecting too much but I was pleasantly surprised. The characters are interesting and it is easy to get drawn into the story. Bit of a soap opera but a good read.

Read this book for my bookclub - and while at first I thought it was a tad slow, by the end I couldn't put it down. I definitely want to read the next two books in the series! And yes - tissues needed for the end!
