Contemporary romance has become my new favorite genre to read and this book was just what I like! I went on to read every other book from Jasmine Guillory. I like that the settings are in some familiar locations!

Very repetitive, no depth, sex for the sake of sex, vulgar language for the sake of vulgar language, and almost zero character and plot development. Quit halfway through and will not be reading anything more by this author.

Very cute story. It’s a total don’t have to think beach read. Perfect way to just pass time.

Wow, this was not a good book. I have no problem with a story being "light," "cute," or even "chick lit," but it still has to be well written. In addition to the corny character cliches, the repetition - as mentioned by other reviewers -…

I know it’s a popular book. I found it boring and the story line repetitive. Made it to 60% and skipped to the last chapter. It was meh.

I am having a tough time reviewing this book as I am torn between I loved this book and I hated it so I am going the in between route. I wanted to love it which I did for about almost half way through but then it got very annoying. Yes,…

Review excerpt: "'The Wedding Date' is charming and delightful, and it saved me from getting overly hysterical on a flight to Costa Rica. It’s not a perfect book, and I found myself giving the hero my “WTF” face a few times, but the…

I wanted to enjoy this book, but I could never really get into the story. I blame Drew for this- I just couldn't feel much attraction to his character. It wasn't that he was bad- it was that he was blah and entitled. I constantly felt like…

I enjoyed the love story of Drew and Alexa. It was very satisfying to read. I can't wait to find out more about them!

I thought the initial wedding date was a cute intro, but then the story continues to repeat the same scene seemingly over and over. The small things the main duo fights over are really idiotic and not worth writing a book about.

little to no chemistry. The wedding (arguably the best part) is done within the first hundred pages. The main characters have sex, fight, have make up sex, repeat. Drew is an asshole and his perspective really wrecks his character 99% of…

Cute story, but too drawn out for an entire book. I got bored in several parts, thinking, this again?

A light-hearted and entertaining book about a fake date between Alexa and Drew. Their attraction keeps drawing them together until they realize they may just have a real relationship...

I actually enjoyed this book! It didn't take you "around the world" to get to the point. I enjoyed the sweet yet "hey this couldn't possibly happen" love story of Alexa and Drew.

A meet-cute encounter that leads to a great contemporary romantic page-turner.

I thought it was boring and very predictable. I'm so tired of the heroine in these types of novels being so, 'woe is me, I'm so homely. A hot guy like him couldn't possibly want a mess like me! Blah, blah, blah...'. Hooey.

A chance meeting in an elevator thrusts two strangers together for a weekend wedding and both parties end up with much more than they bargained for. It's unfortunate that the presence of strong profane language dominates the story and…

4 Stars - I recommend if you enjoy a more realistic take on a romance novel. When Alexa and Drew get stuck in a hotel elevator together, he talks her into attending his ex's wedding with him that weekend. What starts out as a…

This book is pure fluff and zero substance. If you're looking for something to pass an idle summer Sunday that requires almost no thought or brain power - this is the book for you. The characters are likable enough, though incredibly…
