Example of what a movie of this genre would look like if a hip counter-cultural artist did it. A style all it’s own here. There are several things in this that could have changed movies/tv much more even than “Pulp Fiction” did if not for being an anonymous indy film. Status quo’s immune system fended this one off. Too bad. The French dug it and remade it exactly. Not as good as the orig though. >>>>> Male nipple kissing, Black sexual prowess, Harvey Keitel, psychosexual/violence sublimation, ambulatory media-oneness, realistic prostate exam, demonstration of interiour states—just some of the prescience of style from Toback in 1975! Like a wild new form of jazz that got so far out no one could or did follow. Except for ‘morphogenic resonance’, we’re revisiting...
