This is a really good read for anyone interested in the creation and early days of Walt Disney World. I'm about halfway through the book and the author does not appear to have any biases for or against Disney. The book does a nice job covering the several years of planning prior to opening day.
If you are interested in a detailed look at the events that led to opening day then I would recommend "Project Future". However, the highlights from that book are covered in the first chapter or two of Realityland.
