The third installment of the Antoine Doinel series. It's now 1968 and the mischevious and perpetually love struck Doinel has been dishonorably discharged from the army and has returned to Paris, where he embarks on a series of ill-fated jobs, finally settling on an amusing stint as a private dectective. In his ever-turbulent love life, he finds himself torn between an attractive, serious-minded young violinist and a glamorous, older married woman.

Up until now only one comment on this film? What's up with that?!
This is one of Truffaut's best in my opinion. This film is a joy and has very funny moments mixed in. Don't miss this.

If you were dragged to the _400 Blows_ by your French teacher or your snobby cinephile college friends, you may have dismissed Francois Truffaut as a gloomy Gallic misanthrope. Nothing could be further from the truth. Look no further than this lovely, funny romance that follows "Blows" beleaguered Antoine from prison to military service to sporadic employment...and rapturous first love. Jean-Pierre Leaud reprises his role as Antoine, with Claude Jade and Delphine Seyrig as the objects of his confused affections.
