Hopefully, after he finishes up Shannara, he will come back to Landover for at least one more book.

The book held my interest throughout with some interesting characters and situations. Only criticism I have is that it was somewhat lacking in action. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

My favourite of the series. Perhaps the long break from the series reinvigorated Mr. Brooks' imagination for it.
The story moved at a good pace, and with the focus on Ben Holiday's daughter, rather than on the usual characters, it made the story and writing seem fresh.

The Landover novels all have a easier pace and more lighthearted feel to them in comparison to the Shannara series, which usually has made me enjoy them less, but not in this case. I enjoyed reading this book immensely.
