Very enjoyable well worth the time to watch. Good to the end!

this is the best film Brando ever made, and the fact that Brenner is in it is a bonus. the story is also excellent; it is a thinking person's film.

Not a well-regarded film, but I enjoyed it. Brando & Brynner play well off each other. I thought Marlon gave a great performance and adopted an effective German accent.

I enjoyed this, and I'm typically not one who's big on war films. It was more of a psychological thriller. Good suspense. Brando was in his prime, and he actually pulled off the German accent pretty well. Brynner was great, too. I think this was the only time I've seen him laugh (when he jokes about the possibility that Brando really wasn't SS). Pretty young Janet Margolin gives a haunting performance. Small part for Wally Cox as a junkie (!).
