I really liked this movie, but it is a little (a lot) to much for kids, to much blood, why can't they just show the good in big cats insted of making them look like monsters???

Two words: Murder Cats

We found this to be a really interesting DVD because the first four episodes focus on the struggle of these large cats to survive (not just on their life cycle) and they talk frankly about the problems that occur between humans and large cats, the conservation difficulties and the natural hardships that they face. This is a hard look at how tough a lion and leopard's life is in Africa at the moment. The last "free" episode I could've done without. My kids got tired of the same graphics being shown again and again, and I would have to agree. (I mean, when you fall asleep, it's not that captivating is it?) Although the part about how they use their mouth grip was interesting, especially since it debunks the bloody killer image.

They should've called this Dinnertime for Big Cats. It bordered on gory. How many scenes of lions, etc. ripping apart their prey do we have to see? Disappointing. Do not watch while eating.
