Really beautiful piece of work.
Compositions are very sparse, seemingly comprised of a very minimal bit of moog generated accompaniment to solo voice.
The beauty of the moog is in the attention to detail. It seems as if the main objective was to keep everything simple, but the abstraction is an absolute norm.
Understand, this seriously is not some new age kind of junk but a kind of very innovative pop. Some of the more introspective moog passages "When I Go Out" are astounding. It's as if experimental electronic composition has been melded with pop melody. And as the song nears finale an almost african-samba-like percussion is suggested. Make certain you are in good listening circumstances so that you don't miss the detail.
One could almost imagine this music playing in the background of a 'Jetsons' era disco. I guess that Little Dragon has managed to kidnap us to that future, ironically somewhere in a 1960's cartoon. It's a sweet fantasy.
Monotonous, nothing memorable.
This band is Amazing! I saw them live and their album is just as good.
