Good story that shows that you don't have to have electronics to be happy. And perhaps when you are without power and forced to be without , well that can be a whole lot more fun and everyone interacts . The neighborhood has a great time without the distraction of powered devices.

A good story that teaches us that we can have fun without electronics. Also teaches how neighbourhoods can come together and not be so isolated.

A gorgeous book that tells the story that I also have from my adolescence during the blackout - it's a time when families and neighbourhoods truly come together. Who knew electricity got in the way of so much fun?

Gorgeous book! The illustrations are fantastic and the story reminds us to slow down and connect with the ones we love. Will be adding this our home collection!
