Dr. Northrup's book is well-written and highly informative. I particularly appreciate that she shares stories of her own journey through menopause. Some of her suggestions may be less appropriate for the Canadian healthcare system, and other suggestions will be out of reach for those with slimmer wallets. Nonetheless, I found something I could use in every section, and the fundamental principle - that women must re-evaluate their lives while their bodies and minds change during menopause - is thoroughly substantiated.
