I highly recommend this book. Great writing and such a page turner.

I've always felt like exercise and training is as much a spiritual act as it is a physical one. Rich Roll has written a book that gets to the heart of this better than any author I've read so far.

I don't understand the comments about "self-promotion" or "bragging." One, this book is written with a tone of humility that I really appreciate. But, perhaps more importantly, it's not bragging if you actually did it.

Super motivating story and excellent nutrition tips in the index. A must read for anyone training for intense competition, especially tris or marathons.

A gripping, well-told story with some shameless self-promotion. That said, it is definitely worth reading. This guy tests his limits, for sure. And reveals his flaws as a human, including a battle with the bottle.

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. It is a well told story about life's very low lows and very high highs and all the places in between where we find and create ourselves. Engaging, fun and inspiring.
