This book was easy to understand and contained very educational information on the lives of women in the ancient Roman Empire. Selected words were in bold, indicating a definition could be found in the glossary if a reader didn't understand them. There were a few mistakes that I took to be editing errors. Also, there were not as many references to actual Roman women as I had hoped there would be. The title Ancient Roman Women meant the book was mostly about women in general, not that it was mostly about specific women (though a few were mentioned).
