Some audiobooks are just spoiled by the narration, and this is one of them. The subject matter is interesting, but the way it is read is very boring, as if the narrator just can't be bothered with it. It spoiled the whole thing for me.

I would recommend this book for any WWII buff or any fan of the Band of Brothers or The Pacific series. The author's style can sometimes be a little wordy but it accurately reflects the character from The Pacific. It's realistic and opens a very informative window into what day to day life was like during WWII in the Pacific.
