Really enjoyed this book. It's a little basic, but at the same time intuitive. Tough to describe. It both opened new ways of thinking for me, but also reaffirmed truths that I already understood. Would recommend.

A call-to-action in faith, asking the questions of what you are doing to improve your faith, what changes you are (and aren't) making, and how you can love on everyone and anyone you meet. I enjoyed this book and the insights it gave me on how I can better live my life in service of God. A great book on His love and how we can love and trust Him more.

Written for those who love their electronics! Great videos to check out online that go with the book, but not my cup of tea. Disrupting to me to be told to stop reading and go watch a video online. When I read I sprawl and yes, I have my smart phone, but I don't want to watch a tiny video on it to supplement the book... So I never finished the book.

This was a great book, although extremely harsh at times. I prefer Max Lucado's gentle and profound style to Chan's at times rather confusing and disturbing writing. Still, it was a great reminder of God's love, and how He wants us to love Him more and more as well :)

Encourages me to live out my faith with a bite to it because of the frankness of the messages.

You can get a pretty good idea of what this book is about by listening to a few of Chan's sermons (try YouTubeing 'Lukewarm and Loving It'). Since I've subscribed to his podcast for a while, it wasn't too groundbreaking for me; but it definitely has some really important truths that all Christians need to be reminded of.

I enjoyed this book. It gives deep insight to how much God loves us and wants us to follow Him. It challenges you to become more active and less complacent in your relationship with God. If you want to be challenged and have some deep thoughts read this book. If you want something that will tell you that you are perfect and everything is fine, then this is not the book for you.
