I really liked this book because it was a perfect mix of history and captivating material. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Flat characters and an utterly predictable plot make this book a slog to read. The subject (the deadly influenza epidemic in the early 1900s) is interesting, but the treatment it gets here is not worth your time.

Great book, I just finished session two of Downton Abby, so this book about the Spanish influenza was a great continuation of the historical time frame.
