Too much about Solzhenitsyn, and not enough analysis of Nabokov. I found some of the discussion too speculative and not grounded in what Nabokov himself says. Indeed, Nabokov's novel "The Real Life of Sebastian Knight" ridicules biographies that attempt to explain a subject as the product of his time.
