I consider myself an experienced and tasteful reader, and I just could not take this story collection seriously. The characters were hollow, the situations cliche and predictable, the angst palpable but overall, boring. I was disappointed - in another writer's hands these ideas may have blossomed.

A very quick read, with engaging characters. Seeing characters in various phases of their lives weaves a thread through the different stories.
