Sing along with this book which adapts the classic children's song! Vivid artwork accompanies the verses. It's great for a storytime, where you can ask the children to identify the animals and make the animals' sounds.

This is a great book / song for storytimes. The animals are a surprise element and I have used it several times at my programs :)

We use this often for sensory storytimes and it's always a big hit. Both the rhythm and the surprises of new animals keep kids engaged.

A good choice for storytime. Children can be involved in each verse by making the appropriate animal noise. Ends with animals going to sleep.

i've read a few books that introduce new rhymes to traditional kids' songs and this is my favorite. my 18 month old and 3 1/2 yr old really enjoy us reading and singing this book together. the rhymes are catchy enough that they get re-sang while changing diapers and driving in the car. it makes the kids chuckle as they think it is silly when we make the corresponding animal noises that go with each section of the rhyme. definitely a book i'm considering purchasing.

A new book by Jane Cabrera is always a treat! Kids will enjoy the new verses and want to make up their own.

fun to read, the children liked making the different animals noises.
