Add a Commentperson of interest the show on cbs is a great show keep it coming for a 7 season in god speed
What a comedown from the first two seasons. The theme of government intrusion and spying is as relevant and timely as ever, but is obscured in these overloaded and confused episodes.
American TV depends on violence and gore rather than intelligent stories and characters, and that is the problem here. Stereotyped scripts with cheesy dialogue; repulsive characters, especially the psychopathic killer females like Shaw and Root and the grotesque Camryn Manheim as god-knows-what. And the machine is a "she"? WTH is that supposed to mean? Even the music is worse: where is that great soundtrack?
Two stars for the superb acting of Enrico Colantoni as Elias (a chilling portrayal) and Kevin Chapman as Fusco. I didn't even finish watching, no point in torturing myself. Still the best American series I have seen is "Prison Break."
Best line: "The NYPD is full of dirty cops." No kidding.
This is an awesome show. It may seem hokey to some but with today's issues involving the government spying on its own citizens there is a chilling reality to it. This third season has Carter taking on HR and Root's character becoming much more prominent. I find Root to be an intriguing character. This season also has the good guys taking on Vigilance. Again, with today's real life issues, it was easy to envision that a group of self proclaimed patriots like Vigilance really does exist out there. We pretty much zipped through the episodes because some of them just captivated us. Not only is this a good program, it should give the smart viewer something to really think about because the basis and concepts of this show are not really far fetched at all.
