Metatron: Castiel! Bet you're not happy to see me.
Dean Winchester: Is anyone? Ever?

Metatron: You know, while you could never pull it together, Castiel, why you're sitting here while your grace slowly burning away and your reputation long extinguished? No curiosity. You didn't read enough. You never learned how to tell a good story.
Castiel: But you did.

Metatron: [voices echoes in radio] Hello? This is Metatron.
Neil: More reverb.
Metatron: Because I'm Lou Gehrig?

Dean Winchester: [Enters the MOL compound and is surprised by an arrow hitting the stair rail next to him] What the Hell?
Kevin Tran: Dean?
[hiding behind an overturned table with a compound bow in his hand]
Kevin Tran: You're alive!
Dean Winchester: Yeah, cuz you're a crappy shot! Katniss.
[removes the arrow and heads downstairs to meet Kevin]
Kevin Tran: Sorry. It's been a bad couple of days. I- I haven't slept... or eaten...
[whispering]
Kevin Tran: I'm pretty backed up.
Dean Winchester: Okay. Over share.

Dean Winchester: Has anybody talked to the victims' families?
Sheriff Jody Mills: Next on my list.
Dean Winchester: You said that they were all part of the same church?
Sheriff Jody Mills: Mm-hmm.
Dean Winchester: Ready to get your worship on?

Dean Winchester: I don't know, Sammy. Looks like Jody might not need our help anymore.
Sam Winchester: Oh, they grow up so fast. Don't they?
Sheriff Jody Mills: Yeah, joke all you want.

This season was about Castiel becoming human, Dean receiving the Mark of Cain with the help of Crowley in order to beat Abaddon, and Sam being possessed by an angel named Gadreel who tricks Dean by telling him that his name was Ezekiel. Plus Castiel tries to battle Metatron for control of heaven and the angels. The sad thing about this season is that Gadreel killed Kevin by possessing Sam and Metatron killing Dean despite he had the Mark of Cain on his arm and then Crowley turning Dean into a demon which was pretty cool while it lasted.

Agree with others on the web that the last few seasons have been way too dark. The sarcasm, Baby (the car!), chicks, horror, and classic rock, won me over long ago. But the show moved away from it's roots to where it's been nothing but angels and demons FOREVER now. That's about as old as the save the world in every episode problem other shows have had. This season I was thrilled with some great humorous moments - especially sexual innuendo, cool cars, a return to hunting supernatural creatures, and beautiful women young and old! Loved seeing Cas experience being human. More cowbell/rock n' roll and more laughs and scares please. :)
