This audiobook is wonderful! Maggie Gyllenhaal captures the tone of the heroine perfectly--her narration is languid, yet bewitching. I can't imagine a person more suited for Plath's descriptive prose.

I took this out on the recommendation of a different author. It is the story of a young woman who slowly goes crazy. Reminds me of The Yellow Wallpaper. Lots of details. Lots of thoughts. Slow demise. Too slow for me. Although it is well written, I can't seem to get into it.
