"Nothing to fear...but the Fear Master himself. Batman is known for striking fear into the hearts of criminals. However, he's not the only dark figure to do so: someone has been striking fear into the hearts of abducted children, and now the Dark Knight finds himself on the trail of his most fearsome enemy--the Scarecrow! But is he actually on the hunt for Batman? Now the Dark Knight will have to confront his own worst fears -- and his own dark history -- if he's going to be able to save Gotham City from Scarecrow's deadliest attact ever. How far will Bruce Wayne go to save his city? Will Batman make the ultimate sacrifice to stop the cycle of violence?" -- Page 4 of cover.

Greatest of the Dark Knight series so far, the art is intensely drawn and Scarecrow is at his best.

Not bad, but nothing special either. Finch can be a great artist (I loved his work with the Avengers) but his Batman often comes off as a hulking brute and not the worlds greatest detective.

A brooding collection from one of the Bat titles, this one features my personal favourite Bat-villain, the Scarecrow, front and centre. The writing is dark, and the art is moody and grim, as fits the character.
