For such a small bird, Duck is a big annoyance to his neighbor, Bear. Bear and his pink stuffed rabbit are comfy in bed when Duck bangs on the front door. See, after lots of coffee and a bit of research about ways to stay awake, Duck is ready to hang out ALL NIGHT LONG. Even though Bear shoots down his suggestions (they could make smoothies! or play cards! or start a band!), Duck doesn't get the hint…and Bear doesn't get his beauty sleep. Cartoony visual humour abounds in this energetic odd-couple story (and its sequel, I Love You Already!).

Jory John has crafted a hilarious "Odd Couple" story with Bear and Duck. Benji Davies' solid illustrations match perfectly. The fact that wide-awake Duck's house is an electric yellow while sleepy Bear's is a dark blue helps set the right tone.

My 4 year old great nephew LOVED this book. I can't tell you how many times we have read it, but he can pretty much repeat it by memory now. I highly recommend it!
