I was pretty sure from the beginning that I should be questioning Olivia... but Toten does a decent job making the reader return to Kate as the questionable girl in the story. I feel like there was many loose ends... Johnny doesn't really have any effect at the end, Kevin "the help me" guy is the most pointless character ever - if he more of an impact on the story, that would have been MUCH better. It was slow getting to the climax; once it happened it sped up until the discussion of disposal happened. The end didn't please me; all it did was confirm who I really thought the crazy one is.
Nice thriller with a creepy twist at the end. I don't usually go for this type of book as I normally ship urban or medieval fantasy, but this was fun to read and I jammed right through it. If you like psychological thrillers, this might be something you'd enjoy.
