When I first heard the album “Birds in the trap sing McKnight” by Travis Scott, it had me laughing. How Kendrick is able to modulate his voice for it to seem so different throughout the whole album had me cracked up. Also, the lyrics throughout the album are hilarious. But the different beats combined with the lyrics have an eerie vibe going. I haven’t heard anything this creepy since the movie “IT”. This album will give YOU goosebumps which I find really ironic considering there is a song named goosebumps in the album. Regardless, no matter how funny or eerie the album is, it is still an absolute banger. The truth is this album is so different from typical rap music because most rap is so focused on flexing money, they forget about their dark times. So for Travis to talk about his feelings/side effects in a dark time is really great and big of him. I feel like when people are in dark times, this album would help lift their spirits because I feel like they would be able to find connections within the music and compare, for example they could compare the times they get goosebumps and really form a connection with the song, same going for other songs in the album. I have always been a fan of Travis Scott's and am glad he is getting the recognition he deserves. In conclusion, I would definitely give this album a 5/5 for its astonishing beats and originality.

Travis Scott's second album Birds in the Trap Sing Mcknight was released in 2016 including 14 songs. This album is off the bat one of Travis Scott's best albums/mixtapes ever made and this album shows that it is by the variety of good songs there are in this album and the achievements this album has succeeded. This album has peaked number one on two charts, second for the Canadian charts, and multiple certifications from different Associations in Canada, United States, Denmark, and the UK. All the songs in this album are different from each other and have different beats, flows, paces, vocals, etc. Which I think few albums suffer from similar songs in their album but this album nails the differences in each song. Most songs in this album have great vocals and beat to them for example songs such as the most known song in this album "goosebumps" featuring Kendrick Lamar where in my opinion, the vocals sound good and The song "lose" where the beat constantly never gets boring to listen to. Aside from most good songs in this album, there are also a few bad ones that I personally don't like such as "outside" and "sdp interlude". My favourite songs in this album are "lose" and "goosebumps" and to be honest, I actually like lose a bit more because of the catchy beat. One thing I also like about this album is that it mixes a lot of different vibes to it which makes the album not just one fast-pace rap type of album but more of a couple of songs chill, fast, slow, etc. I would still recommend this album because even though it's about 4 years old, this album is still worth listening with all the good songs in this album. 4.2 out of 5.
