Book starts: Confession: "Look, nobody's ever accused me of being a good dog. I bark at empty air. I eat cat litter. I roll in garbage to enhance my aroma. I harass innocent squirrels. I hog the couch. I lick myself in the presences of company. I'm no saint, okay?"

I'm a big Katherine Applegate fan, and I was thrilled to pick up a copy of her The One and Only Ivan sequel. I have to admit, it took me some time to get into this one. I don't know if it was the timing of when I started it or that it's just a bit slow to start. BUT, about a third of the way through, it got really exciting, and I flew through the rest of it. If you're a The One and Only Ivan fan, you definitely need to get your hands on The One and Only Bob.
i read it twice in one day so good so much more action than '' the one and only ivan''

Charming and wonderfully written.
Remember that puppy in "The One and Only Ivan?" He has gotten his own book! As a hurricane approaches, Bob goes with George and Julia to visit the animal sanctuary. After seeing his best friend Ivan and sidekick Ruby, a tornado unexpectedly separates them all. Bob narrates this tale of searching and finding as our old friends reel from the tornado destruction and Hurricane Gus batters the area. Katherine Applegate uses short chapters and dog lingo to place us firmly in Bob's world. A canine glossary at the end educates us on any unfamiliar terms like "bed boogie," "FRAP," and "rhymes-with-pet-threat." This fully deserving of a "crazy mutt." Don't forget that the movie adaptation of "Ivan" is due to release in August.
Amazing book. There are many happy, sad and funny moments. You can really feel what it is like to be a dog. There are many plot twist, and it keeps you on your toes throughout the whole book. It is a real page turner.
