Another Lisa Jewell page-turner. I liked this one quite a lot, even though I've read some negative reviews. These books aren't stellar pieces of literature in any sense, but they do keep me reading into the wee hours of the night.
Good thriller with unusual portrayal of "incel" culture and the powers of pride and redemption.
This was a good book, but not one of the best by Lisa Jewell. Unlike most of her other books, there was nothing really shocking or exciting. Still one of my favourite authors though.
A good book, interesting story, but definitely not one of my favorites from Lisa Jewell. It was interesting enough to keep me wanting to read it, and I love how Lisa tells a story, but the twists in this book weren't as exciting or mysterious as I've come to expect. Still a good read!
A captivating book that isn't quite as dark as some of her other books.
Have enjoyed every Lisa Jewell book I have read and this one is no different. I was hooked from the get go and every chapter made me want to read more. I looked forwarding to sitting down with this book and the ending didn't disappoint.
A thriller with so many twists your head will spin!
A British thriller with an interesting take on toxic masculinity.
From the super creepy incel world.....
