Clearly this was a labor of love for the author, who invested in connecting with many female leaders, and even a couple of male allies to interview about creating the pipeline for the first female president. The book is a compilation of these interviews, and as such, some are more engaging than others. It's poignant at times to read the messaging, both external and internal, that these women surmounted in the journey to influence.
