Max is a crazy child, but what kid isn’t? When others do not conform to Max’s demands, he gets upset. He feels like he is not being paid enough attention by his mother, and he ends up running away from home. The problem is that he doesn’t just end up running away from home, but it appears that he’s no longer in the real world. As Max enters a new magical world with never before seen creatures, it doesn’t take long for Max to befriend the creatures by telling them he’s their king. However, things do not continue going smoothly. What will Max do in the midst of conflict while he’s surrounded by creatures multiple times his size? This movie is a great piece that shows the inside of a child’s mind. It makes one reminiscent of their childhood days. On a final note, it is pretty creepy with all those monsters.
