Ratt, along with numerous other iconic melodic metal bands of the 80s, got written off just about entirely when musical tastes changed dramatically. By 2010, fans had been left being quite unsure as to what to think. Yet the group managed to woo back the crowd in dramatic fashion with 'Infestation', and it's little wonder why. The album, simply put, rocks. Ratt managed to re-capture that high-energy spirit of the guys' earlier classics in newer tracks such as "A Little Too Much", "Best of Me", and "Eat Me Up Alive" among others. The odds of hearing these great tunes on modern rock radio may be slim to none, but that doesn't change the remarkable nature of the band's achievement.
