My first Wally Lamb book was She's Come Undone, and I think at the time I was still at the stage where I under appreciated the value of a good book. Having read this book you can see Mr. Lamb's great passion for writing and emotion. In this book he says all the things that people dont talk about concerning sibling rivalry, the truth about what we feel our parents do to us that affect the outcome of our adulthood. When I saw all 891 pages I thought I was going to be bored by the end of this book but on the contrary I was more ensconsed with each chapter. Dominico's story and Dominick's reaction to the chain of events in his life had me intrigued from beginning to end. To Mr. Lamb I agree with you yes a book this size is a monster and a daring move but you pulled it off and its emotion rings with every word.
