Another brilliant collection from my new favorite, Meera Sodha. This is a survey of East Asian cuisine organized by main ingredient. Sodha's directions are clear and exact, and followed to the letter they will never fail you. That said it's still easy to improvise or substitute a few things if you're confident. Sodha's recipes use mostly pantry staples with only a few exotic ingredients; if you're up to it, though, cooking with curry leaves and whole spices is a lot of fun. A great way to diversify your skillset and introduce new flavors into the kitchen. This is so flavorful it hardly occurred to me that it's also vegan/vegetarian; omnivores will not miss much. Super filling & plentiful servings.
