Home Alone 2

Lost in New York

In comparison between the VHS and the DVD and Blu-ray Discs, The DVD Version used a letterbox widescreen format that doesn't fit properly on 16x9 HDTVs due to the lack of windowboxing or streching problems with the picture. The VHS version included previews that were outdated because of the DVD version being replaced. Both of the three versions of the Home Alone 2 Movie have a Dolby Surround soundtrack included, which will require a Matrix decoder for the VHS/DVD/Blu-ray Disc to handle the surround sound placement properly. Also, the DVD and Blu-ray disc versions of the movie have both French and Spanish language tracks on them, and English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing. Also, The DVD version included a special feature that has 3 theatrical trailers of the first three Home Alone movies. Look for the 1999 DVD release of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York in the Complete Home Alone DVD Collection Box Set.
