International Holocaust Remembrance Day
January 27 is the the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. The United Nations designated this date as International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a time to remember the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and the millions of other victims of Nazi persecution. The Kansas City Public Library marks the day with a resource list to help patrons learn more about the Holocaust.
