My decision to read this is because it will be released as a movie staring Shailene Woodley and Felicity Jones later this year. Meyers writes a compelling story that will hopefully turn the tale into a legitimate production and not a…Read moreRead more of this comment

I wish I could say that I truthfully liked this book, but I can’t. It isn’t that the author isn’t a good writer and she has an interesting story line. She makes it so you want to read on and find out what happens, but the book can…Read moreRead more of this comment

This was a great story, if not a little bit of a slow read for me. Not one to keep me up wondering about what was going to happen if I didn't read the next chapter, but would be great if ever adapted to the big screen.

This one had me in AGONY and up all night. How two people could miss connecting by mere minutes or threads of communication for YEARS on end! The guilt, the self punishment, the constraints of society in the 1960's.....Honestly, if it…Read moreRead more of this comment

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jojo Moyes is a gifted storyteller. Her writing is brilliant and she really knows how to engage her readers. I'm obsessed with her books and I still have 5 more of them to read. The Last Letter…Read moreRead more of this comment

I was intrigued by the summary on the book flap of this novel. The plot had many twists that had the reader agonizing for each of the main characters. I highly recommend this novel for romance readers and those who love to explore the…Read moreRead more of this comment
Good book from Jojo. After reading Me Before You I had to go back to read her older stuff. I just love this author! This is a nice romance with a touch of An Affair to Remember. One of the main themes is extra-marital romances but I like…Read moreRead more of this comment

Another captivating read from Jojo Moyes. The protagonist, Jennifer Stirling, awakens from a coma after a horrific auto crash, having no memory of what and why. She later finds love letters (not from her husband) - the book fluctuates…Read moreRead more of this comment
Although I agree with the previous comments--it's an engaging, satisfying page-turner--I would like to warn you against giving up on it in the early going, as I almost did. I found the beginning uninteresting, not living up to the cover…Read moreRead more of this comment

Love does not exist like this in reality therefore I am so thankful for Moyes' fiction. Each time I read her novels, I become a bigger fan. The dual romances spanning over two time frames makes for page-turning reading. The complicated…Read moreRead more of this comment

I enjoy how this writer portrays women, her books might be aimed primarily at women, but the characters are not sappy romantics. They're much more real than that, and the plot-lines keep me reading to see where she heads next, so they're…Read moreRead more of this comment

Should be a movie! It had me enthralled! I at first was disappointed with the change of writing style when it switched to the "present" but then admired her ability to do so, as she did capture the way things really are now (in terms of…Read moreRead more of this comment
